Most of my Spanish friends don't have a passport because they use their ID cards to travel. I guess they'll not bother with short breaks in the UK anymore.
We are phasing out the use of national identity cards as a valid travel document. From 1 October 2021, most EU, EEA and Swiss nationals will require a passport to travel to the UK. ➡️ gov.uk/guidance/visit…

Listened to @bbcnickrobinson interview @RobertJenrick on #Today . #Jenrick is utterly clueless on how the planning system operates & the current failures & successes of trying to build more homes. His plans for the future are a nonsense.
Robert Jenrick has just said on @BBCr4today that the planning process is not currently digital so busy people can’t play a part. That is not so in Cambridge at least (cant believe we are alone) where you can access documents and comment online.
