And the fact that there is a medication that can sometimes appear to impact the behavior in the desired direction adds to the notion that it is an 'illness' and not a social construct.
There is no illness called "ADHD". It's a social construction. Variability exists in focus & concentration on boring or non-stimulating tasks. There may be legitimate underlying causes. Some kids are more active making it difficult to sit still. It's just not an illness.
What's the protocol? Does the US invite India for a state visit or does India apply for one? Who is trying to achieve what?
