In the past 72 hours i have seen (on X) users share some of the limitations and unreliability being produced and generated from AI models. Are we still too early, and is that good or bad?
are we putting too much weight and importance into prompting if results cannot be consistently replicated?
Studying the practical use of AI is doable, studying its capabilities & limits is much harder AI is inconsistent, with abilities (& how to best prompt them) that evolve over time, making replication hard. Plus, it can be an incredible mimic that makes us anthropomorphize, badly.
😭 Ran into a bit of a wall today. Was trying to develop a recyclable prompt to provide examples of a Math Standard at different WIDA Descriptor Levels (Beginning, Expanding, Reaching). I spent way too much time revising and editing the prompt, pasting into different models and…
I think this could be something to explore for Campus, system and district wide tech integrationists!
