One of the things I'd missed so much about attending ACES is the energy it gives me, especially in terms of refining processes and ideas. Everything felt stagnant.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need a doctorate or master's degree to be an incredible editor or literary agent.
Getting a little bit of rest, but I'll be around all afternoon and evening if #ACESEvolve folks want to catch up or talk shop.
Sometimes I think conference presenters forget they're not talking to students. You probably don't need to explain the difference between writing and editing to a group of professional editors, lol.
