The more I study Nigeria's First Republic and the Action Group Party, the more I realise that Awolowo was wrong and Akintola was right. Obafemi Awolowo should have stayed on in Ibadan as Premier instead of moving to Lagos and contesting for the Prime Minister position in 1959.
