TFW airport authorities are so put off by your message they have to create signs and statements to distance themselves from you behavior.
Update: In addition to our statement, these signs are being placed at the entrances to the TSA checkpoints at DTW.
These folksy "we need to get back to" was when every car guzzled gas and you needed a tune up every few weeks. Modern cars are safer, more fuel efficient and are sleeker; while people pine for this, no one actually buys it in quantity.
What’s preventing this from happening? Do people actually like all the electronics in new cars? We need to get back to the basics.
I am told that that Fox news is *not* state run media, but when the "journalists" on it answer to and apparently get their marching orders FROM the WH, that label becomes harder to beat.
Thank you, Mr. President. Accountability is coming. Glory to GOD.
Delta just announced that they were going to do per-person "surge" pricing; every airline nickels and dimes you for baggage and headphones, and gives you like 2 small crackers now. But going through security a minute faster is better than the 60s/70s where flying was luxurious?
DHS is easing unnecessary burdens on travelers while keeping them safe. We are streamlining security procedures for families with our “Families on the Fly” program at select airports. The Golden Age of travel has arrived, and it starts with prioritizing the American family.
This is like one of those bad posters created by weird conspiracy theorists to *show* how their story is actually true when it's not. The first flaw? There were warnings WELL BEFORE the election, with Trump leaning into them ... "Russia, if your listening". Why AFTER the win??
🧵 Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President @realDonaldTrump, subverting the…
So, the "Justice Department" traditionally has a mandate to pursue lawbreakers "without fear or favor". An admins policy goals may TWEAK priorities slightly, but it should never be used as a political tool. Esp. where an US attorney jumps in to cheerlead...
Love the throwaway "the private sector does this all the time" -- without saying it's because their cashflows ebb & flow. Selling lots - hire people; selling less - lay some off. Most gov't staff are already stretched AND paid less then private counterparts. Not the same at all!
The theatrics are weird. There are >79,000 employees at rhe Department of State. The salary overhead of the department is >$8 billion. Those 1,300 are less than 2% of the entire department. The private sector does this all of the time. For the first time in a long time,...
TFW because YOU have no clue how the government works, you think your tinkering WITH it isn't harmful.
When too many people work for the government, the relationship between the government and the people becomes unhealthy
"If the AI isn't spewing my worldview, it MUST be wrong"... is the chef's kiss of being in an isolated bubble.
This is Michael Feinberg, a career FBI agent who was driven out of the agency by Kash Patel and Don Bongino. Read his chilling resignation letter below: In a series of phone calls yesterday, I was informed by you that, because I maintain a friendship with a former FBI executive…
It's weird that people who don't understand things like science and history are surprised when events like flooding happen, and imply it's "not natural". Because they've never seen it PERSONALLY, it must be an external force and not just nature. 🤦
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around how the flooding in Texas became so devastating so quickly. Why not evacuate?? Then I saw this: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes, around 4 a.m. That doesn’t even seem natural.
Funny, most that *I* have seen have said Tens of Millions of *Americans* will lose their heath coverage. Mostly in red states, too. Unless you are alleging that red states have been covering undocumented people all this time??
You’ll notice all the Democrats will put out tweets that are basically Word for Word the same. My favorite part of their talking point memo is “(blank) million PEOPLE will lose their healthcare.” Pay special attention to the word choice of “people.” They won’t say…
"A 20 year old OS just SMOKES on modern hardware, why is today's stuff so bad?" Comments: Try that out on circa 20 yr old hardware! GUIs are always pushing the envelope.
Ok so I just installed Windows 2000 in a VM and I am envious of how fast everything moves and loads. It keeps up with me. Modern UI is miserable.
I don't get this. "I pay a lot for something (that seemingly I can afford), but YOU should suffer if you can't"... works great for the latest iPhone or a new huge TV; not so much if it means you can live or die. Like some people can afford $0 for medical stuff. I feel bad!
I pay $30,780.00 a year for health insurance, with a max out of pocket of $18,500.00 (not including copays at the counter), for the missus and I, so you'll have to excuse me if I seem unmoved that you're losing your free healthcare, that somehow I also pay for.
I used to think morons like this were principled but just disagreed on policy points. You can dislike AOC, but her family was definitely middle class and they struggled; but easier to build a strawman back story then address her actual arguments.
What you have to realize about the communist class in America is that they are all bored, privileged theater kids with nothing better to do than destroy Western civilization. None of them actually grew up hard knocks.
First, the Census is something that is mandated to be done every decade; and it's extremely expensive. There is a 0% chance this gets passed in the Senate, if it even ever gets a VOTE in the house.
I just got off the phone with President Trump!! I told him about my new bill I am introducing that will save America’s elections from ever being stolen again! My bill will require the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a new census immediately upon enactment of the bill. In…
