My 10 worst / most disappointing reads of the year. For half of them I really liked others by same authors but these fell flat

My October wrapup (but also Happy Halloween if you're in a country where its still October)! Happy that aside from two books I actually managed to stay on theme with halloweenish reads (yes I'm aware half are kids books... and?)
I sort by author on my main shelf, and by colour on my tbr shelf since they're all single books and I see them more often
I like reading to a theme so I want to say yes, but they're usually pretty underwhelming? Plus as an Aussie they're not really seasonal in the same way. Halloween is in Spring & Christmas is in summer so most of the atmospheric stuff isn't relatable??
October tbr 🎃 (plus you bet I'll be reading give yourself goosebumps books) but I'm a mood reader too so keep expectations low 😅
