Took forever to get my new Webcam installed and aligned, but I think that I am good

I definitely over spent and got a better camera for my booth. I think that I might make a few tweaks va practice videos. Thinking of the Litany Against Fear, The Story of the Film so far, and maybe a little Lovecraft...
Breaks go by so fast, but at least I got my thumbnail done
Fumbling a little less with the gain. I just ordered a foam windscreen to see if it helps with the noise floor and breaths.
Mondays are the worst. Instead of working on my VA website or editing my overdue YouTube video, I struggled to keep my eyes open.
I'm honestly grateful for @greasepunkcomic. If it wasn't for the raw requirement, I wouldn't have forced myself to finally figure out my audio, which is where I have been the most uncertain and anxious in the past. Going to be a lot more confident moving forward, which is great!
Well, now I get to figure out how to dial in my mic more. Seeing the drastic improvement on the spectrogram was amazing, now I just need to refine it and then I can hit the auditions.
I will start tweaking the audio tomorrow, but it has come so very far already

Just 90 minutes until we are closed. My new mic is waiting for me
My AT2020 should be waiting for me when I get home from work. I might just try to record some silly videos comparing the two mics.
Well, I was a little productive on my break. Got a little work done on my carrd website. Need to start working on all those professional looking profile bits
So, another round of #voiceacting questions: How do you cool your booths? My tiny diy closet booth with moving blankets has no airflow and I need to figure out a way to cool it that is as close to free as possible
I really do have an amazing and supportive mom. I'm going to be getting an Audio Technica AT2020 for an early Christmas present. Hopefully going from a low gain dynamic to this will make a big difference on my auditions
Had to make an unexpected upgrade because I invested k in the wrong kind of mic. Seriously hoping that the AT2020 will make a difference over a dynamic mic.
Me: I'm going to get home and get some wish done on my gain! My cat:

So, do any of my #voiceacting people have any tips on dialing in the gain on my dynamic mic/mixer? I'm doing my first raw audition and I need to dial it in manually instead of relying on normalization.
Great boost for the day

Finished my second workout room for @greasepunkcomic audition practice. Got some new people, one potential auditioner, and great feedback on my own auditions. Doing another set next week and then I will record my auditions with further feedback and improvements.
The head isn't fully attached yet, but I did it and I didn't epoxy myself to the torso
