Clutter 1.22.0 is out! Grab it at: download.gnome.org/sources/clutte… - and remember: have fun!

New blog post: What's new in Clutter 1.22 - blogs.gnome.org/clutter/2015/0…

a wild new Clutter developers snapshot has arrived - download.gnome.org/sources/clutte… - it uses GDK by default, it's super effective!

If you rely on the X11 backend being the default you should use the CLUTTER_BACKEND envvar or the backend selection API.

We will be waiting for regression reports, just in case, so testing is welcome, especially on Wayland and HiDPI displays.

Nothing should change for Clutter apps, except now windowing system integration should work a lot better. 😄

Starting from today, the default Clutter backend on Linux/Unix is the GDK one, instead of the old X11 backend...

The rules for the Git repository have changed: mail.gnome.org/archives/clutt… - please read if you're building Clutter from Git.

Just like @GTKtoolkit, now Clutter has a Mir windowing backend, contributed by @3v1n0 - it'll be available in the 1.22 release.

New in Clutter-GTK: better Wayland support; portable widget embedding.

New in Clutter 1.20: stability improvements; better Wayland support; improved gesture handling.

Double the release, double the fun: both Clutter and Clutter-GTK had a stable release in time for @gnome 3.14!

brb gonna stare at this Apple Watch transition for the rest of my life

Just released a new stable snapshot: 1.18.2 - download.gnome.org/sources/clutte…

Deprecated symbols have been removed; the code base is now ~40k lines smaller. Expect huge refactoring and churn for a while.

The master branch is now 1.99: the long road towards Clutter 2.0 starts today.

New developers snapshot available at download.gnome.org/sources/clutte… - lots of bug fixes!

clutter-gtk, double feature: 1.2.2, last release of the old stable series; and 1.4.0, first release of the new stable series.
