We are proud to announce the launch of the Code4000 Product Development Programme! The first remote code review initiative run in UK prisons. Students work with professional software developers over 8 weeks, sharing their code via GitHub to be reviewed by a Code4000 mentor.

We are very excited to finally be able to share this, with the support of PA Foundation and @PA_Consulting, Code4000 will be able to open its first coding academy in a women's prison!
Building on the success of @code4000uk, we've partnered with @PA_Consulting to deliver coding workshops and computer programming training to 50 women in UK prisons, helping them to secure employment once they leave. Read our full announcement here: ow.ly/fyyU50KSywf
Ariel was one of two hiring managers involved in our employability roundtables. Fielding several questions from our students, she was able to draw on her considerable experience to suggest realistic strategies to mitigate the effect of a criminal record on employment prospects.
Our employability roundtables are about more than just practical advice. Highlighting the connection between coding training and actual tech employment, they inspire our students to think about their futures and to step out of their comfort zones to reach their real potential.
Last week we started a series of employability roundtables at Wandsworth. Students were joined by hiring managers Dylan and Ariel, and C4K graduate Franky, and discussed employment opportunities in software development. In the 1st profile of the panel members, we introduce Dylan.
