A Job is just a business transaction, nothing less, nothing more. Job security is the biggest myth ever sold by anyone. You can’t guarantee to receive a monthly income from a job. Assume your job will be gone in 5 years & start building multiple income streams.
I keep being surprised at how some companies decide to lay people off. Snyk is a 7-year old company. As part of letting people go, I know of at least one person who has been with the company since the very early days (6 years) who was laid off. This sends quite the message...
