Designing a software architecture or implementing an algorithm, simplicity is the ultimate achievement, but also the hardest one even because complexity is fascinating Complexity gives the comforting impression of being in control, while simplicity is often confused with naivety

Writing tests doesn't reduce project velocity. Skipping tests gives a false impression that you may be making "progress." However, without validating the business requirements, velocity is meaningless, as it doesn't measure the actual progress but the level of hope.

At @codeborne , we practice pair programming. Which is especially useful for the training process. New people do learn very quickly and comfortably. They are never left alone (well, almost never:) ). Pair programming - highly recommended!

All of a sudden, today is Selenide birthday! Can you imagine? Selenide is 11 years old. :) During the last year, the number of monthly downloads increased 1.6 times from 255K to 426K.

Yes, we do work in pair full time. Always. Yes, it brings quality and speed. No, it's not hard. In fact, it's easier than solo programming in many aspects.
