Abu hurairah(RA) reported that the prophet(SAW) said"whosoeverbelieves in Allah and the last day,then let him speak good or remain silent"

this tells us that we have to be careful i our utterances because verily our Lord is ever watchfull
and he also says "verily,your Lord is ever-watchful"{surah Al-fajr:14]
Allah says in the Qur'an "not a word does one utter except that there is an (angel) watching,ready to record it {suratul Qaaf;18}
