Let's talk about scrollbars in Ghostty. Didn't have time to blog, so decided to record a ~10 minute video describing the background on this problem and walk through how I modified the core of Ghostty to support scrollbars (coming soon!) If you like this content let me know.

After almost 2 years of building (before open-sourcing it), I’m excited to share Servflow, an engine and dashboard built to make API and AI agent creation ridiculously easy. What makes it special: ⚙️ Create AI Agents instantly, exposed over an API 🌐 Build standard REST API…

Minor medical situation on the flight and it’s cool that my wife is able to jump up and help out when they ask for a licensed medical professional. One day someone will need a regular expression so I stay ready.

I’ve been thinking of picking up rust again, and I’ve found a nice toy project to build to make it fun

I was reading a commit log earlier, and it just clicked that I’ve been doing full stack dev and writing Haskell for a year now 😅

Vitess databases on PlanetScale support sophisticated vector search. We've published a deep-dive by @vmg on how we built this for MySQL in a way that is scalable, performant, and ACID-compliant.

Is anyone hiring for ops/customer success/HR roles? I have a talented candidate searching for their next opportunity. Happy to make intros. Appreciate any leads!

Had my most intense Incline & Chest Press session on Wednesday. And now I can barely move my arms 🤧

Every time I see one punch man abbreviated, I read it as Omega power ministries 😂

Another side project I’ll eventually take up is designing PCBs, ideally from a first principle standpoint

On my path to becoming a football coach, I saw the same problem everywhere: Match analysis takes too long, it’s slow and repetitive. That’s why I’m building Reyda, an AI-powered football analysis tool that turns hours of manual tagging and reporting into minutes.

WaitGroup.Go in Go 1.25 is indeed a quality-of-life change. I’ve seen (and made) the mistake of adding wg.Add(1) inside a goroutine, now that’s finally gone.

Lol, just do `return !a`

The ternary operator is very cool 😎👌

Amp Tab is off by default in Amp. More and more people are finding it and enabling it. New features like this need to earn their usage before we consider making them on by default, rather than riding the popularity of the other stuff. Try it out! I use and love it.

Amp Tab is now 30% faster We worked with Baseten to switch to TensorRT-LLM and KV caching with speculative decoding. The new lookahead decoding also reduces draft tokens and compute per iteration by using improved n-gram candidate selection and variable-length speculations.
