I feel like, and most people agree, that the AI bubble is going to burst soon. So, you should probably get more familiar with local LLMs and introducing them into your workflows. They have many strengths and many limitations.

If you use the Reduce Transparency setting on the latest versions of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, keep in mind it often makes things MORE unreadable. WTF. For a good example, see the Safari tab bar differences below.

Update with today’s numbers: In 2024 about 62 million people died worldwide; roughly 585,000 of them died due to human violence — about 129,000 in wars and 456,000 from homicide. In contrast, 720,000 died by suicide, and ~1.6 million died of diabetes. Sugar is still more…
We ignore our biggest killers because they don’t have faces. Yuval Noah Harari:

The "uncanny valley" is essentially extinct. Buckle up, people.
AI is getting out of hand😂
The horrible acts will continue until mental health care improves.
Data point: @1BlockerApp seems to block more ads than uBlock Origin Lite and Wipr on iOS, the other best ad blockers on the platform. Anyone have a different experience?
Programming language governance and corporate control: Disclaimer: This currently amounts to AI slop.

I reverse engineered the San Francisco parking ticket system. I can see every ticket seconds after it's written So I made a website. Find My Friends? AVOID THE PARKING COPS.

This is your periodic reminder that autism predates Tylenol (1955) by 12 - 43 years, depending on which definition of autism (1912 or 1943). I suggest POTUS and RFK investigate a more pressing concern of theirs: lead in water.
People: Apple needs to stop with all the new features and focus on refinement and bug fixing. Also people: What? This is practically the same as last year's model, with only some refinements. Boooring!
This app is really cool. FWIW the model is generating about as fast as the video on my 15 Pro.
Here’s Apple’s foundation model running on iPhone 17 Pro It’s just so fast Apple was not joking, the A19 Pro chip is really good for running LLMs on-device
God, did all of us 5 decades old people have one of these?! This was my favorite toy for a couple years circa 1977-79 or thereabouts! Plot twist: my in-laws still have one of these and my (now teen) kids played with it.
I've been hacking on a new Windows Named Pipe tool called PipeTap which helps analyse named pipe communications. Born out of necessity while doing some vulnerability research on a target, its been super useful in reversing it's fairly complex protocol. :)

Omarchy. Try it. Even if you don't want to fiddle a lot with Linux. You might be surprised. Buy a Beelink SER8. That is all.
We got a FULL INSTALL of Omarchy down UNDER THREE MINUTES!! @ryanrhughes has been obsessively optimizing the install flow for the new offline ISO. This is going to be so good, so fast. Can't wait to share!
