I was at an all time low. 2019: Miserable in hospitality. 2020: Lockdown → taught myself to code, started freelancing. 2 clients… then nothing. Felt like a failure. 2021: Landed my first junior dev role. 2025: Senior dev. Doubled my salary. Helped build sites for some of…
This year has been about growth for me. Expanding my knowledge, strengthening my mindset, and building my finances. It hasn’t all been easy, the lows were tough, but the highs were amazing. In 2026, I’m treating the year as a test. A test of discipline, ambition, and belief.…
🎯180 🎯 Seems only right I make a thank you post for hitting the big number I’m learning a lot about what makes a good post on X, it’s not easy growing an account, but certainly worth it. Next stop 200!
I’ve been off work sick for a few days and finally feel better. I took myself to a local coffee shop to get out the house for a bit, took my laptop and managed to get a lot done on the ‘pipeline’ section on the Helplify widget
Serious question : what is the cure for depression?
“you got lucky” the luck👇
What features do you use most / would like to see on a customer support widget? Also, I’m trying to improve my speaking by doing these videos, it’s not something I’m entirely comfortable with, but practice makes perfect 👌🏻
Tailwind question... I prefix my tailwind classes like 'hlp-p-3', but this means the template is seriously bloated. (I do this so when embedding onto other sites my classes don't clash) Is there a way to write normal tailwind, but add the prefix at build time? Could UnoCss be…
I try to be open and honest on here, recently I've been seriously demotivated and down about my progress with Helplify, and life to be honest. It starts a spiral which takes me a lot of effort to claw myself out of. But, I grabbed life by the balls today and starting sorting…
One day you'll realize the amount of potential you had, and how it was all wasted away because you chose comfort over effort, and there will be no one to blame but yourself. That regret will haunt you forever.
Reflecting on the thoughts of the weekend. What is Purpose and how do you find it? Sorry for the terrible audio
Looking to add a feature request/ticketing type system into my Saas. I use Supabase and want to know the best way to stop the endpoint being abused by spam etc. (users of the widget will not be authed) Im using a table with RLS, but can see people talk about edge functions but…
Since building Helplify, I’ve wanted to give users the ability to reorder their featured articles on the Widget. I finally spent this evening adding that functionality. It’s simple, effective, and adds some nice depth to the dashboard 🤙
I tried my best here not to sound ungrateful for things. I have a vision for my life and would be completely lying if I said I wasn’t trying to build a business to help make that vision come to life!
Sitting here working on the landing page refresh, explaining what Helplify is all about. Watching videos of Dubai and picturing the life I’m building. I will make it.
Hey Everyone I was sitting here this evening thinking of some ideas for Helplify. Completely randomly decided to record my first video. I’d love to hear your comments!
I’ll go all in on my business or self-improvement, get super disciplined, then suddenly burn out and feel worse off. Even with dev day job, the fear of failing or not understanding something makes me procrastinate. Anyone else get like that?
To get to $10,000 per month, i need to make $1000 per month. To get to $1000 per month, i need to make $100 per month. To get to $100 per month, i need to make $1 per month. Start small and build. Trying to get paying customers seems to be the hardest part.
I've built and launched my product. Now I'm diving into the outreach and marketing side of things, and to be honest, i have no idea what I'm doing. Im seeing people say X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Cold Email, Paid Ads... Whats the best way I can get started?
Sometime you've just got to force yourself to be motivated, then the momentum follows. I think the youth of today call it 'discipline' or something 🤷♂️
