Finally completed the Part-3 of Full Stack Open course. ✌️ This part was focused on the backend side of web dev. Took me more than 2 months as I was busy with my semester exams. 📚 Here are the things I learned about in this part: #FullStackOpen #WebDev

1⃣ NODE.JS AND EXPRESS - Learned about Node and how web servers work. - Express, a Node framework to make web servers. - REST architecture for defining APIs. - Different HTTP request methods: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE etc
2⃣ DEPLOYING APP TO THE INTERNET - Learned about same origin policy and CORS - How to serve static files from backend - How Proxy works - Deployed an app on Heroku
3⃣ SAVING DATA TO MongoDB - Learned about MongoDB, a very popular NoSQL database - How to create, save, fetch, update data from a MongoDB database - How to connect database to the backend - How to handle errors
4⃣ VALIDATION AND ESLINT - How to validate data before saving to database - Learned how to use ESLint to check source code for linting errors.
