One hope in these dark days is that democracy is more than just voting, as our recent mass civil disobedience against TotalEnergies showed. As Martin Luther King said: "One has the responsibility to desobay unjust laws." 🙌🔥
With 700 activists, we blocked TotalEnergies Petrochemicals in Feluy for 30 hours. ❤️🔥❤️🔥TotalEnergies is not only a global climate criminal, it is also causing long-term health problems for local people and the environment.
With 300 activists we blocked TotalEnergies in the Port of Antwerp. Even though there was a multitude of police per activist, we still managed to block for five hours. ✊💚 This is without all the sites that were pre-emptively closed because they were unaware of our target. 😉😅
Thanks to the support of thousands of people, we were able to block TotalEnegies in the ports of Antwerp, Feluy and Brussels! Only together we will #StopTotal ✊🔥🔥
