Many men confuse Leadership with Control. Those who seek to lead want to enable the flourishing of the unit they are leading. Those who seek to control want to subjugate the members of the unit for selfish gain at the expense of others.
You have to really be way out of your depth to think the reason we lost in Afghanistan was that we weren't lethal enough at the tactical level.

I’m not sure if I’m supposed to care more about Afghanistan falling to the Taliban or not. Like I’m supposed to be surprised they are winning? We weren’t there to win. Knew that 11 years ago when I set foot in that country for the first time.
I reject any social contract that requires me to put unknown substances into my bloodstream. It’s pretty simple.

Not sure if I have Covid or not but have been sick for a week. Fever broke Sunday but now my breathing is awful and I already have asthma. Still not bad enough to get tested or any care from the doctor. Just told to wait it out at home 🤷🏼♂️
