Lance Corporal Arthur William Bull was from Watford. Serving with 10th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment he was killed on Christmas day 1916. He is buried in Le Touret Military Cemetery. He was 26 years old.

Captain Leonard Birch volunteered early in the war and was commissioned in November 1914. He joined the 1st Battalion, Border Regiment and deployed to France with the unit in July 1915. He was killed on 23rd April 1917 during an attack on Monchy-le-Preux. He was 24 years old.

Second Lieutenant Charles Henry Harriman was from Wolverhampton. He served with 43 Squadron RFC. He was shot down and killed while taking part in an offensive patrol on 29th October 1917. He is buried in Lapugnoy Military Cemetery. He was 23 years old.

2nd Lieutenant Cyril McPherson was from Victoria, Australia. His family were farmers. Serving with “C” company of the 38th Infantry Battalion A.I.F he fought at Messines and Ypres in 1917. He survived serious wounds in October 1917 died in May 1960 aged 67.
