Progress in Armenia, prioritizing deploying essential humanitarian digital infrastructure. Yesterday, our colleague Anca Dragoi met NGOs in Goris, Syunik, assessing needs and collaborating with key organizations like Medecins du monde, Frontline therapists, People in Need.

Approx. 2,000 individuals are in Goris hotels. Syunik has a population of around 15,500. The province holds strategic importance, connecting Armenia to Azerbaijan and Iran, pivotal for Armenian development.

In accordance with the most recent field updates, Goris shelters a vulnerable population, mostly the elderly, people with disabilities, and struggling large families. They've sought temporary refuge due to limited income and travel constraints.

Addressing the situation, it is essential to emphasize the need for continuous monitoring and accountability concerning the displaced individuals who have arrived in the region. This will enable the formulation of an appropriate response to cater to their specific needs.

In light of these pressing realities, we stand firm, unwavering in our commitment to persist and extend our actions in the forthcoming period. #CommitGlobal #Techforsocialgood #HumanitarianEfforts #SupportForRefugees
