#OrthoTwitter I am very excited to share this case series on dorsal root ganglion stimulation for patients with nociceptive pain! This study included multiple patients with primary OA and some with refractory pain to joint arthroplasty. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.111…

Our new paper out on DRG-S for chronic mechanical shoulder pain s/p reverse shoulder arthroplasty + revision. ROM at 0-5 degrees in all planes to almost 90 degrees with DRG-S! And a video on our YouTube page to see/hear his results journals.lww.com/aacr/abstract/…

Absolutely loved rotating at Phoenix Children’s! I can’t thank the resident and faculty there enough for being so welcoming and letting me get so involved in the OR!

Thanks Dr Bennett! It was a pleasure working with you and the rest of the Phoenix Children’s Ortho Dept this past month! I loved learning about the wide variety of ortho pathologies over the month! Such a fun rotation and can’t wait to get back to peds during residency! 🦴🔨🙌

Some cool stuff recently: -@MSOSOrtho abstract accepted 🦴🤌 -@RAPMOnline paper published -@ASCO abstracts submitted -M4 away apps being sent out -Signed up for step 2 -Finished neuro and FM rotations -Super Bowl festivities in DT PHX -Bombed down some runs in Flagstaff

Our new DRG-S paper out showing the utility of low freq stim to attain quality pain control while also saving IPG voltage over time. Too early to say but could extend IPG life beyond the 7 year estimates from the ACCURATE Trial

New paper out in RAPM! DRG-S IPGs could last years beyond initial estimates by using low frequency dosing = less surgical revisions and possibility of a smaller IPG! @RAPMOnline rapm.bmj.com/content/early/…

Pt selection is huge for SCS! Here is a short video I put together on a recent article that discussed this important topic 🙌

NANS RFS-Young Neuromodulators Education Video Series: SCS Patient Selection and Indication⠀ ⠀ We’re excited to continue rolling out our Education Video Series, using a short video format to review neuromodulation education within a structured curriculum. @connortupper

Our new Case Report published a few weeks back using DRG-S for chronic low back pain refractory to surgery, other SCS and focal neuropathic pain after spinal fusion! Super cool case with crazy results showing the versatility of DRG-S! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35587521/

8 hours that I’ll never get back but hopefully it was worth 😅

I can’t be the only person at the gym who does bicep curls and thinks “Decorticate, decerebrate” with each rep 💪😤 #MedTwitter

I’m telling y’all neuromodulation is the future and I’m so excited to be getting into the field at such an optimal time #MedTwitter #DBS #DRGS

Just a little more than a year after I implanted his stimulator my previously paralyzed patient took his first steps. Paralysis from spinal cord injury is no longer permanent. @VAMinneapolis @AbbottNews #sci #hope #progress
