I said I wanted to make a site for the family to send messages, and I’m literally just getting started. I’m still learning, but this journey has opened me up to the many possibilities the world of web development will bring me.
I been learning the node basics, then transitioned to express, with its route handling, and other features. I really took a deep dive into MongoDB, and Mongoose, and I created a few REST API's with authentication, validation, and logging. Started React the first of this month.

I wasn’t born with a gift. I found what I like in web development, and I plan to be great at it. Only way I will not work as a web developer is if I betray myself.
I honestly got into the field of web development due to my love for design, but I would've never known I loved the backend as much as I love learning it. Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB has been my life for the last two weeks, and I'm not complaining nearly as much as designing.
Bruh, I can't even freaking believe this! I created a freaking form where someone can send me data, and I store it to a MongoDB database. Nah b. You just don't understand. This is by FAR my greatest achievement in learning this MERN stack. I just brushed the surface, but wow!
