For theory papers, pdf on my laptop screen, and take handwritten notes on an iPad, reproducing derivations. Understanding comes through the hand, not the eye. Also the ear is useless :)
How do y'all read research papers these days? I feel like my workflow of reading the PDF seems outdated and there must be something better than exists? - Do you just put the PDF in an LLM API and chat with it? - Notebook LM podcasts seem too high level?
