if you aren't getting articles summarised in genz mode, why are you even using LLMs

an ai product???? no no no no product why would release a product? if you show a product people will ask about benchmarks and it will never be enough frontier labs that were the 100X becomes the 2X saas dog but if you have no product you can say you building…

but if you have no product you can say you building…

SSI strategy of not releasing a product is probably a good one. The minute one releases a product, one will be dragged into so fierce competition with OAI, gemini, ... that the original goal will be forgotten. Maybe it would have been wiser for Anthropic to never release Claude…

omg i am so scared of AI, it will take my job soon

execution >> thought leadership meanwhile CRUD SaaS continues to print money, my bro is gonna start another AI therapist

I see so many smart folks optimizing their career paths like it is a chess. But the point is chess often plays out well but (a) it is boring (b) your outcomes are limited. Choose what game to play!

Life is poker, not chess Four years ago I walked away from a guaranteed promotion at McKinsey and a $300K PE offer to work in gaming for a third of the salary. Many thought I was insane. They were playing chess: calculating the optimal move with perfect information.

how long before we see protein maggi from nestle?

came far enough to see a competitive programming topic being used in real world stuff

say yes to weird shit. the best stories start with 'i have no idea why i agreed to this but...' optimise for interesting, not impressive.

forget ai therapists, people are busy consoling the AI 😂

A tip when using Gemini as a coding agent is giving it emotional support. Without this, it tends to panic and irrevocably delete all of its work in a fit of despair. It needs to know it is doing a good job

it is worrisome how casually people drop phrases like 'lets do this urgently' or 'get it done ASAP' whereas they don't even mean half of it

very imp to become irreplaceable in a workplace. hard/soft skills, degree, certification, etc are just fluff once you start working.

An underrated talent is just getting things over the finish line

Unpopular opinion but Chetan has actually made reading more accessible for a lot of Indians incl me. I read a few books by him and then got the fear out and then started reading whatever interested me (mostly non-fiction - history, biographies, etc).

Nobody has a problem with any kind of movie, serial, web series, song, reel being made. But when it comes to books, all the elitism jumps out. It's like they hate it that everyone is reading now. It was their cool thing. So hate the author they are reading too, of course.

Even after 3 years of LLMs, I don't see a popular/largescale experiment where LLM players play popular games like poker, blackjack, ... Maybe I am missing out. If you know one, please let me know.

it is actually insane that people are using munshi without me being constantly pushing it on X or whatsapp. i haven't even released the faster model on prod. btw if you aren't using munshi for transcribing podcasts then you are missing out: trymunshi . app
