Soooo very excited. Got my base #rhasspy setup today. Tomorrow while sitting at my desk I’ll be able to start adding rules and intents and then all my #homeautomation stuff can be controlled with an offline voice assistant. So very cool!!!
Interesting. Been leery of Alexa, but being offline certainly would have some privacy benefits.
That’s the beauty. No Alexa! Rhasspy is offline/opensource. rhasspy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ Not quite as mature as snips was but since Sonos decided to buy and close snips rhasspy is the best I’ve found. My HA system so far requires no internet.
