One third of the residents of the Navajo Nation don't have running water in their homes. Some Navajo must travel several miles to obtain water from an untreated well. Should Indigenous communities have access to clean drinking water in their homes?
Indigenous Tribes need, deserve and should have had from the start access to clean water. Uranium Mining toxified wells and streams, the companies just left. Our Government never cleaned up the toxins either, but got the Uranium. Time is long past due for infrastructure.

Today I held a Legion of Honor award presented to my grandfather in-law. This was presented to PopPop a few days ago in DC by President Macron for PopPop’s service in WWII. Then I learned a lot more about foraging for wild mushrooms and transplanting ramps. He’s an amazing human.
