So I’m at a beer festival in Japan, and this guy has ordered two extra large Kwak’s. He’s either the greatest beer drinker of all time, or he’s going to have a very bad time. If you know, you know. PS it’s currently 6:45pm.
I’ve learnt today that taking a blood oxygen test after a few drinks (including 14% stout) probably isn’t the best idea. Very unhappy face, but free keyring, so winning.
You also have Adam Lipscombe winning a card after technically not qualifying from the first stage. A great example of how 3 or 4 days of darts is just not enough to decide so many spots for a two year period.
Merkx, Harrysson, Jansen, Van Schie, Bellmont, Labanauskas all failing at European Q School after finishing Top 16 in the Challenge Tour last year. Fortunately UK Q School working out more favourably. The PDC will never change it due to £££, but the system simply doesn’t work.
Football nerds assemble. Is there any ground in the world closer to a large body of water than Giravanz Kitakyushu’s? Makes the likes of Arbroath, ÍA, Shrewsbury (old) look distant. PS No one kicked the ball over the stand, very disappointing.

Completing two leagues in one game has broken Futbology. Received the .WE League badge twice when checking in, and only J1 League shows under the match/badges. I’m sure I’ll live though 🤪.
It’s a shame there’s minimum ground requirements. Imagine Djurgården and Panathinaikos fans turning up in Oswestry. The place wouldn’t survive.
Got to hand it to their marketing team/supporters, only club to be consistently selling out every game, and early on too. Frustrating when you need the ✅. Unable to buy a ticket until 4pm today, I had no chance. It’s going to have to be a .WE league game at some point instead.

Another player booked and one of their staff ran 60 yards onto the pitch to confront the referee. Now that red card was deserved 😶.
At Japan v Ghana, I would love to know how the referee deemed that a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity with the player out wide, and two opposition in the centre getting back to cover. It’s never a red card in a competitive game, let alone a friendly.
