The fact that no one mentions Cloudflare makes me happy for my future of "I will fix your vibe coded site"

What's your go-to auth solution for side projects? Firebase Auth0 Clerk Magic Link

Do not recommend using Microsoft GraphRAG with API based LLMs, I'm up to $200 and about 48 hours for 100 documents (about 1200 pages) so far. It's an incredible framework but it's extremely expensive and slow. Would be interesting to try with a local LLM on decent hardware though

My guess as a former energy bod is that either solar flare or otherwise electric interference (solar/wind overload) caused the grid frequency to destabilize causing systems to trip failsafe

In press conference now, Spain's Prime Minister says the country lost ~15 GW of power supply in five seconds at 12.33pm Madrid time. He says the government doesn't know why so much electricity supply (~60% of total at that point) was lost so suddenly.

Is anyone having issues with Google indexing @nextjs websites on @vercel ? Only a small site but I get this - I assume its because I have very few backlinks to make it take notice so its deprioritsed? #buildinpublic

Made some updates to my Xero invoice (and now Bill) uploader invoice.mindlattice.com - Added multiple uploads - you can now upload up to 10+ invoices or bills in a single go - Added email reminders for close to limit uploads - Improved AI detection #buildinpublic

Yes, but we are not because the government is literally fire-selling out the country out from under us

🇦🇺 $20,000,000,000,000 worth of natural resources for a population of only 27M people. That's $740,000,000 per household. We should be the richest people on planet earth.

Have to agree, breaking changes published because a client required it is pretty shitty! Plenty of other ways you could have handled this, including creating a RC at a major version update?

While some things on @hedera are on track, some things are not! The recent change to the @swirldslabs SDKs changed the return type on a very common function--SignTransaction (yes, this is for real). This is a breaking change and should never be done without providing support…

Not a bold take at all. In a small company the CTO should be head geek, sometimes hands on, focused on the delivery of the tech and be the #1 evangelist for what has been built. In large companies split this between CIO, CSO, CDO, CPO and let the CTO focus on the tech delivery!

Pretty bold take
