Opus 4.5 is so much better at coding than GPT-5.2. OpenAI needs to stop worrying about model cost when it comes to their frontier coding models and just go all out. Charge double but make it f*cking amazing.

All of these consulting job cuts are going to see large tech companies hiring these newly available consulting types in droves. Inevitably slowing their progress through endless slide decks and tail chasing processes.

Agreed. Time to resign.

In Australia, the Minister for Home Affairs is responsible for national security, border protection, and internal safety. Tony Burke has failed at all three. Resign now @Tony_Burke. You have blood on your hands.

Oddly I had this revelation myself two days ago. Thinking to myself that theory of mind was the key.

MIT researchers just proved that prompt engineering is a social skill, not a technical one. and that revelation breaks everything we thought we knew about working with AI. they analyzed 667 people solving problems with AI. used bayesian statistics to isolate two different…

Remember, there’s a handy cure for online rage:

From Liv Boeree

The probability of humanity ceasing to exist decreases as we expand. And AI is a means through which we expand. Tribal humanity high risk. Interstellar humanity lower risk.

Gemini 3 just gave me the opposite of the 'shit in a stick idea is great'. With a very well informed critique of a (admittedly throw away) idea. In short, "don't do that, do this instead".

That sounds right to me. The front end improvement is really good and was sorely needed.

Early thoughts on Gemini 3 Pro: - Very fast, very smart - Does not have the attention to detail of GPT-5.1 - Incredible frontend designer (which I need!) - Not as good at code as Codex 5.1 - FUCKING LOVES TO COMMIT SHIT My TLDR; Backend: Codex 5.1 Frontend: Gemini 3

Has anyone out there tried replacing their CRM with something like @FactoryAI or @cursor_ai and @supabase?

Coding agents are more important than autonomous cars. Autonomous cars have a limit. Once a 100% safety record is achieved and all vehicles are replaced there's nothing beyond that. However coding agents have no upper limit. A SAI coding agent will be able to solve any problem.

…podcasts ftw

The problem with social media right now, summarized: 1) Rage bait works 2) Bots are plentiful 3) AI slop is everywhere 4) It doesn't feel super social anymore 5) Extremely addictive 6) Pressure to go viral 7) You compare yourself without noticing 8) Hard to tell what’s real 9)…

I am unreasonably excited about self-driving. It will be the first technology in many decades to visibly terraform outdoor physical spaces and way of life. Less parked cars. Less parking lots. Much greater safety for people in and out of cars. Less noise pollution. More space…

People are going to be walking around with robot boding guards that battle other robot body guards to settle altercations. It’ll become a spectacle that draws large crowds of onlookers.

It'd be cool to see legal agents in adversarial cases representing plaintive and defendant. Not as objective as markets but it'd be incredibly interesting.

Keen to see if it would help Codex debug webApp development. Surely it would given it can see everything on the screen and has access to the network tab.

It’s better to send bits than electrons. So instead build data centres that run high parameter models that send bits back to Earth.
