The campaign has been so disapointing for me as a whole. Not because of the candidates but because of the negativity. I would have loved to hear from all candidates about what they would bring to the role, rather than justify their pasts. I blame Fine Gael for this.

What has struck me about this #Aras25 campaign is how advanced the electorate has become. Astuetly aware of media influence, smears, RTE bias, the electorate is seeing through it all. @catherinegalway as leas ceann comhairle had no issues. the smears won't work.
