The old Barclays Bank on West Norwood high street is being turned into a pub. Building work has started. Site apparently acquired by “Badger Badger” who run another pub in Deptford. Their website says they offer pub, board games, workspace and Japanese food.

Back in the day, a young person in the CJS got a probation officer who wore clogs, drove a Citroën Dolly and had a manageable caseload. Legal aid got you a brief out the Temple who wore Church’s brogues. Today, for all the additional agencies involved, the CJS barely functions ⚖️
