Playing with new intro for our studio showreel, doing 2D in #houdini is fun, especially with flipbook render which is faster than writing the rendered png sequence to SSD lol. Gradient is just uv quickshade with COPs gradient, only the small text is imported, fonts sux in Houdini
I was having fun learning new scripts in AE , and then i tried sourceRectAtTime expression.. which crashes all 4 versions of After effects i tried, including the latest one.. typical After Effects, not having fun anymore, not trying anymore versions. Anybody has the same problem?
any troubles with Houdini launcher on win 10? i had some problems with it so i opted for Steam version, but my renewal is soon, im thinking switching back to launcher (it bugs me i cannot install exact version on steam). And can you have multiple versions installed with launcher?
damn, octane for houdini has no math nodes, no way to split channels, only way is to use OSL.. and i though XPU was limited hehe.. the speed is not that special either for basic interior lighting with no transparency, volumes or high polycount (on my rusty 2080ti lol)
small update, changed stiffness.. looks more like proper cables now i think, added delay for each end of cable, and angled the jacks a bit along the velocity
