Anné Minard agreed to plead guilty on 2 counts: filing a fraudulent income tax return and embezzling from a nonprofit. She will testify against Lee and Stephanie Chatfield as part of the agreement.
Anné Minard, the Lee Chatfield associate facing corruption-related charges with her husband Robert, is expected to enter a guilty plea in Ingham County circuit court today. Robert Minard is still headed for trial.

Michigan has been told to stop issuing food benefits due to the federal government shutdown.
At an event in Grand Rapids today, Col. Grady said he was appointed to “ensure that the mission is completed here every day in the state of Michigan, and that’s to provide excellent public safety services. I will continue to do that … I am not resigning.”
Senate GOP leaders are calling on the governor to fire State Police Director Col. James Grady & Deputy Director Lt. Col. Aimee Brimacombe, the latest in a string of officials who’ve done so since an employee survey released in June & further controversies that have come to light.
