@NYPD88Pct I was in the Jay St bike lane at Willoughby, which was obstructed by two of your officers. I stopped and said “excuse me” and the white PO replied, “GO AROUND.” I dismounted and as I pushed my @CitiBikeNYC past, he aggressively shoved me. Absolutely no provocation.

Tonight the Drag Story Hour protesters came to my apartment building and gained entry. My super called the cops and two of them were arrested for trespassing. This is pure hate, unmasked. If they think this is going to intimidate us, they’re mistaken. Our resolve is strengthened.
One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Aboard @United Airlines 220 flying over Cape Canaveral as a SpaceX Falcon 9 lifts off.
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.
Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away. It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized. People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.
My thoughts on the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

The implication here is that neither the cyclist nor the driver is innocent, which is convenient for Adams, as it distracts us -- no matter how we feel about cars or bikes -- from the fact that the City of New York is responsible and guilty.
At this time, we know that at least six people were injured today when a taxi and a cyclist collided and innocent pedestrians were caught in the aftermath. This is a terrible tragedy, and those injured and in critical condition are in all of our prayers.
When you see a Dodge Charger or Challenger crumpled on the street and an ambulance or morgue truck carting away bodies, know that the driver used his car exactly as Dodge intended and encouraged.
On days when it’s so hot in NYC, wouldn’t you rather have your block filled with trees, places to sit, and shade rather than parked cars?
Another day of thinking “I’ll never move back to NYC”. It’s the drivers.

Drivers who do this should have their vehicles impounded immediately. If the owner is a city employee, that person should be fired and barred from future employment with the city.
Look how evil this cop is. Modified 2 characters on their @nysdmv license plate. Blocking half of the crosswalk, too. @HowsMyDrivingNY JJG5483:NY #PlacardCorruption #CultureOfCorruption
A family of 7 was killed by driver of a @Dodge Challenger going over 100mph. While the driver is to blame, he was using this vehicle in the way it was designed and marketed to be used by a company that incites violence on our roads. A thread on how #DodgeKills in their own words.

Victims of Deadly Multi-Vehicle Las Vegas Crash Included Family of 7: 'There Are No Words'
The victims of Saturday's multi-vehicle crash in Las Vegas included four children — ages 5, 10, 13, and 15 — as well as three adults, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office
Two pedestrians were killed in separate incidents in Manhattan today — in both cases, they were mowed down in the crosswalk AND neither driver was charged, despite @NYCMayor and @NYPDPC Sewell’s promise to hold reckless drivers accountable: nyc.streetsblog.org/2022/01/24/nyp…
Reason we aren’t really considering moving back to NYC. It’s the drivers. They are violent, unstable, and behind the wheel of a murder machine.
An SUV roughly the size of my apartment cut me off in the crosswalk, easily got within 2' of me, so i thumped the bumper with my (soft, mittened) hand as he passed. He pulled over, almost as if i'd risked his life or something, and I hid in the nearest store for 10 minutes. cool.
Incredible! Recall there was a movement a few years back where people in many cities held events w/ #peopleprotectedbike lanes? Well just unearthed footage of Houston Street rally from August 30th, 2006 of one featuring #bikenyc, @TransAlt @darkpilot & @scottmstringer @OpenPlans
