Had an interesting debate this evening via Zoom with @ProfMadhuku concerning the law of parliamentary recall and its implications for electoral democracy. Our hosts were @ercafrica with @lindamuriro moderating. I think it was productive. Hopefully they will share the video.

Good idea. We thought boarding schools like Milton and others would be easier to prepare...than ZITF. United College of Education have the ablutions and beds and may be quicker.

Well said. We should desist from just criticising for the sake of it, but strive to make constructive criticism.

As u go abt the great initiative, plz be mindful of 1)having enuf beds yet no adequate trained health staff to lk afta patients 2) testing testing testing is critical 3)striking a balance between people staying home and at the same time not dying of hunger.#iam4byo @BusisaMoyo

If we are for real with collecting data then @MoHCCZim needs to do Mass testing , small samples will lead us astray and give wrong impression , ward and district level testing is the only solution

.@MoHCCZim reports a third Coronavirus patient died in Zimbabwe today, a 50-year-old male at Wilkins Hospital in Harare. Of the 410 tests conducted so far, the country has recorded 11 positive #COVID19 cases and three deaths.

Mass testing at district and ward level . Then data will make sense otherwise we will loose more lives that can be saved @MoHCCZim @InfoMinZW

Not testing more people will give you a wrong data impression. You have 11 cases and 3 people die that is a mortality rate of 27%,which means we have the most lethal form of COVID-19 in Zimbabwe.

All of those and the ones that he mingled with before he showed symptoms of the infection , I am sure as a people if we are to be honest with ourselves Byo needs to define its own strategy led by the people for the people @byopra @wildtrustzim @skhumoyoward17

So now it's him, the people at the hospital as well as the people at the old people's homewhefe he was staying .It's a big number.

It has reported a death days later. How many cases are not being tested and are positive or Negative ?

Please try and be as safe as possible 🙏 Apparently Bulawayo has reported its first Covid-19 Case (Death)

The actual account is not yet clear but he was treated in Bulawayo , several social media reports are claiming different account but bottom line is the chain of people who are not mentioned , ward based testing should be priorities @kubatana @khumbumaphosa

Is he or was he the 11nth case. How do we account for his test. Worse still there's a chain of contacts. Mo worrying is that it presumably happened in Hwange & who else was in contact with the host.

There are so many ways but the simplest is daily routine contact, from the suspected date of infection to the time of death , this will also include people around him

How will they trace everyone
