Training with confidence is the only way to train. Enthusiasm and determination will follow like boxcars on a freighter.

Life without purpose is like a hand with no thumb. Can point & count to four, but can't get a grip on anything. Can grasp, but can't hold on

I like the company I keep when I'm alone, I like the sounds of silence; I like the uncluttered space.

It comes down chins and dips, sets and reps, courage and consistency. You can elaborate, but beware of confusion

Everything is light after moving several tons of iron -- everything is simple. Colors are brighter, sounds more acute

Approach your workout as a surgeon approaches heart surgery. Trivial metaphor, but makes my point: Get serious.

The best defense when the world is crumbling around you is strength and health within your own borders.
