NYU Law School has reportedly canceled a Federalist Society event with Ilya Shapiro that was scheduled for Oct. 7. Originally citing the possibility of protests, the law school insisted on changes that FedSoc reportedly agreed to. It then "rescheduled" the event with no date set.

It seems like there is not enough of a policy response to the fact that, with 57M miles of data, Waymo’s autonomous vehicles experience 85% less serious injuries & 79% less injuries overall than cars with human drivers. 2.4 million are injured & 40k killed in US accidents a year

Leave it to @AmericanAir to waste empty seats instead of using them to accommodate passengers who are going to miss connecting flights because of thier incompetence. This is no way to treat an EP member!!! #SDF #DFW

A lot. Because it’s far more common than you (and others) have been misled to believe. I will offer up an explainer on this subject once again. A “1-in-1,000-year flood” is a flood that has a 0.1% chance of occurring in any given year at one specific location. That last part…

Again how many once in a 1000 year storms are we going to have this year.

People are screaming about how a mid-decade redistricting effort is "unprecedented" and "unconstitutional"!! Well, read this by Grok: Compiled History of Mid-Decade Congressional Redistricting Instances in U.S. history where states redrew congressional districts outside the…

Actually, I have not noticed that. It's probably because: 🔹Ten of the top 15 strongest hurricanes to make landfall in Florida struck either in or before 1995. Eight of those were prior to 1965. 🔹Florida has been struck by 111 hurricanes and 40 major (Cat-3+) hurricanes since…

So have you noticed that Florida is being hit by more severe hurricanes ever more frequently? Insurance claims are thru the roof and longtime residents are calling it quits and leaving the state. But yeah, nothing is happening related to climate change in FL right?

This is how Democrats drew my Congressional district in Maryland a few years ago so they could maximize their representation in Congress. Spare me the fake outrage. They're just pissed about Texas because Republicans have finally started playing the Democrats' game.

Wrong. Red states got nothing on blue state gerrymandering. California: 🔴40% of the statewide vote 🔵17% of the seats (9 out of 52) Massachusetts: 🔴35% of the statewide vote 🔵0% of the seats (0 out of 9) Connecticut: 🔴 38% of the statewide vote 🔵 0% of the seats (0…

CNN's Jake Tapper claims Democratic gerrymandering in Illinois is merely an "exception" and the rule is "the worst offenders when it comes to gerrymandering are Republican states."

Just some context on redistricting... Republicans are basically finally starting to play hardball the same way Democrats have done for years, here are some examples: 1) I lived in Texas in the 1990s, when Republican candidates were sweeping statewide offices by 5 or 10 points.…
