You need skill to benefit from luck

I’ve seen some crazy UpWork job posts, but I think this one takes the cake… Are you an expert python dev? How does $4 per hour sound?

Considering Strapi as an alternative to Wordpress moving forward. Any thoughts? At a glance, seems to check a lot of boxes for me. github.com/strapi/strapi

Webflow is great, one of many fantastic no-code/wysiwyg platforms. BUT beware, you don't have the keys and they make the rules. My advice: If you want full control, start writing code and find a hosting platform you like.

WTF is wrong with @webflow? They're forcing me to pay $15,000/year, up from $468! A 32x price increase overnight! And they gave me 1 week to decide if I want to upgrade or move the whole Failory site to another CMS!!

Let’s not forget creating ‘hot spots’ with Adobe Fireworks…

So true. Making lists and crossing things off has its own satisfaction- that’s how I manage the mundane tasks. Also super important to know which features to shelve for a later date and focus on shipping a product.

My biggest weakness as a developer is that once I figure out the challenging part of a task, it becomes such a chore to finish it. It’s like I suddenly get bored and want to move on to the next thing. Is anyone else like that? How do you get past that? Any tips or tricks?

Mike from Invision, is this reminder truly going to go on until December?

That’s great and all, but can we just get an api for images?

Fire your client. Thoughtful strategy, design and execution takes time.

You have 1 hour to build a landing page for a new client What tool(s) are you using ?

I've come up with a nice example for the book: a #UXP plugin that uses TensorFlow.js via ml5.js with an Object Detection model (local!): it leverages the new Imaging API to suck pixel data from a Photoshop and send it to the ML engine.

Would gladly have this be the future for SPA dev. Hope @apple @firefox and others move to implement the viewTransitions API.

LOOK. This is just a regular ol' website. No JavaScript whatsoever. Navigation pages with clicks <a> links to other HTML pages. The most basic website in the world. Yet, with a few lines of code to activate View Transitions, KAPOW.
