To better support those hit hardest by the storm we are asking that you respect the travel ban and that Byron Brown resign.
It's sad that the CE has to carry water for the failures at the levels above and below the county. And we need to be asking why. There is a limit to the resources available at any one level of government. We need our leaders prepared before this happens again.
@MayorByronBrown’s social media comms before and throughout the storm. There’s ONE statement regarding the upcoming weather, “I encourage everyone to complete their holiday and personal errands by Thursday before the harsh weather is expected to impact our region.”

I spoke with @GovKathyHochul to get an update on the extreme winter weather hitting New York. We stand ready to make sure they have the resources they need to get through this. My heart is with those who lost loved ones this holiday weekend. You are in my and Jill’s prayers.
I am sad to announce that our City has lost at least 20 members of our community due to the winter storm. Everyone please continue to be safe.
