I honestly have no idea what I was doing this morning before I fell into the rabbit hole of Twitter reactions to Tom Hanks' outburst.

I saw this a long time ago -- I can't remember where. My mind often returns to it: LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS - You can't win. - You can't break even. - You can't quit the game.
Hey nerd tribe-ISO SFTP client for either Mac or Linux that lets me set the no. of simultaneous connections, set caps per conn, pause/resume per conn, and shows real-time activity/stats per conn. Anything out there like that? w/S3 support preferred

In the time it took me to get up, make coffee, and then sit down at my desk, my strange brain went through a couple lines each of M's "Pop Muzik", Sade's "Cherish the Day", and Cypress Hill's "Insane in the Brain." Could this be a new Covid indicator?
I'd like to think if @prince were alive today, there'd be a song going around now called "Funkadeltacron Came from Minnesota."
This quote visits my mind too often.
Bilbo's "I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread" really hits different going into year three of a global pandemic
Hate to see how they'd depict a Gen Xer. 🙄

I missed the memo -- is a meaningless MJ comparison still obligatory? How do they compare in the amount of honey they put in their tea?
Major progress today in the @prince estate: a final decision on the value of his estate — $156.4 million. Or about 50 % more than the value of @michaeljackson estate. startribune.com/its-final-prin…
Happy birthday, Drupal! I've been using it for ~17 of those years. That's like, what, 51 "internet years"?
Happy 21st birthday #Drupal! 🍾 Exactly 21 years ago, I made my personal website software available as Open Source, and made it available as Drupal 1.0.0!
Video filmed in the city of Chongzuo in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 8 shows a group of runaway ostriches sprinting down a street. The group of around 100 ostriches reportedly ran away from a nearby farm after the employee forgot to close the gate of their pen.
Twitter needs some sort of "but they're OK!" to go alongside trending names. Already today I've seen Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young trending, and each has given me a sense of dread. They all seem to be OK. You're welcome.
Not to be out-done by 2021 and 2020, 2022 is off to a notorious start. RIP, Bob Saget.
Karma, she is magnificent
BREAKING: Two of the lawyers presenting arguments to the Supreme Court to block Biden's vaccine mandate have tested positive for COVID. Because of course.
Another thing I blame 2020/2021 for: Every time I see an older celebrity listed in Twitter's "What's happening" sidebar, I get nervous.
Betty White? Seriously? Don't let the door hit you on the way out, 2021.
