Who remembers SQL Server Management Studio? ๐ค I feel like I cannot remember the last time I've had you open! I've been doing a lot of C#, Blazor, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML lately โ but I still ๐ you. #SqlServerManagementStudio
I used to have it open as much as @VisualStudio and @code but I have a different focus now. There's a lot of really cool things in that space, I wrote some fun SQL notification bits, broadcasting changes with the .NET SqlDependency object. What cool things have been doing with it
I use it a lot but I wish they were still investing in it. It needs to shadow update intellisense as scripts are executed and REALLY needs a dark mode.
I use it occasionally but loving Azure data studio, very fast and clear nice VS-Code style interface. In fact there is that great VS code extension as well for sql database management. Looks like Azure data studio is spun off from that extension.
SQL Server Management Studio can't be replaced, when you use full power of MS SQL, but for writing SQL scripts, I use DataGrip
I really like @AzureDataStudio It helps to work with multi-databases without switching contexts. But it would be great to have Azure Cosmos DB support as well
I use it everyday. It's always running! Azure Data Studio is getting better and better. I love the Notebook feature in Ads ๐
It's been a long time... I feel like Microsoft Killed it intentionally by making it hard to find the standalone installer...
I've always got it open. Are you not using a SQL backend? Anyway, after reading the comments I'll be checking out Azure Data Studio today.
I use it on daily bases, but, I am not writing SP as I did before. Honestly Linq is saving my days
I remember those long coding days trying to get an sql statement to get the information I required from the dB, migrating endless access db's and excel spreadsheets into a relational system and then the pain of migrating and rebasing data from one application's dB to another ๐ญ๐
Our reporting still run from Azure SQL Database. We are in the process of migrating, until then, use it almost everyday.
Use it just about everyday....
I work in an Informatics core and use SSMS on a daily basis. Relational databases, ETL, warehousing, reporting, stored procedures for Tableau, etc. Every enterprise development job I've ever had ran on SQL Server
I use them maybe twice a week. Probably more if I write code more often.
Have it open regularly (again, after ages of being without it), almost daily in fact.
I use it daily. We have a React, AspNetCore, SQL Server application at work.
I've used SSMS a lot in my previous jobs when I was manipulating databases, queries, stored procedures, etc ... I use it a lot less now because of Entity Framework.
I use it daily but wish there was a better tool. Also Azure Data Studio is not there yet.
