This video shared by @JohnKerry describes the EMIT imaging spectrometer's detection of CH4 superemitters from the international space station. We have now detected over 1000 plumes!

Our friends at @NASA are helping the world identify methane super emitters from the International Space Station. Methane contributes 30% of current warming - and rapidly reducing methane emissions is crucial to our global climate, health, food security & energy security goals.
