Your life is not a series of random events. Your family background, education, and life experiences—even the most painful ones—all equip you to do some work that no one else can do (Eph 2.10).

Happy Birthday, Abraham Kuyper! Born Oct. 29, 1837, Kuyper was a neo-Calvinist theologian, a journalist and prime minister of the Netherlands. His concept of "sphere sovereignty" heavily influences CPJ's policymaking approach and commitment to principled pluralism. #justice

Work is a function of being God’s image bearers. Everything we do, whether it is work in the home or outside the home is imaging the God who made us to work. #CalledtoLeadBook

Are you mentoring anyone at this time, whether in a work setting or outside the workplace? Perhaps it is more of a discipleship relationship? Regardless, consider who is in your circle of influence that you can make a lasting difference in their lives. #CalledtoLeadBook

Here’s my personal view @tom_peters

If you really want to make a diff. in biz, econ and in the lives of ppl, then (assuming you are a Christ follower) make it a book about stewardship and serving others for the Kingdom. You have a following you can impact for eternity. Work is Good, Work as Worship is Better!
