I never ask this, but I'm asking now: Please retweet this. Texas plans to kill Melissa Lucio in four days. Five jurors say evidence was withheld from them. A bipartisan majority of the Texas legislature favors clemency. Why are you waiting, @GovAbbott? nytimes.com/2022/04/22/us/…

If anyone in your life has just had a baby, make sure to check in on them. Many new parents are struggling, and in silence no less. Post-partum depression is real and we don’t talk enough about it. Take five minutes to ask how the new parents are doing. It means a lot 🤍

⚡️ SvelteKit just got a couple of new lifecycle functions. You might already know goto and prefetch. Well beforeNavigate and afterNavigate just got added to that family. You can use beforeNavigate to clean up state as a user moves to a new page. #Svelte #askRodney #SvelteKit

Anyone who thinks parental leave is a vacation… we have to get up every three hours to feed. Each feeding takes about 40 minutes. Then I have to pump for 15 minutes and wash all the parts. I also just had surgery. This leaves me with maybe 3 hours of low quality sleep a day.

Every Congress person gets 12 weeks paid parental leave as a term of their employment. We, the taxpayers, pay for their family leave, but they won’t vote to let us pay for ours.

🖨 Here's a neat trick you can do with @tailwindcss to tweak your print styles. Add a new custom "print" media query to the "screens" property in your Tailwind config. Now you can use classes like `print:text-black` to specify print-only styles! 📄 tailwindcss.com/docs/breakpoin…

Curious question: Why go with the complexity of Vue or React when you can use Svelte? Is Svelte missing some key functionality? For my Golang mind, Svelte just works @golang @SvelteSociety @sveltejs @MadeWithSvelte
