We spend so much time criticizing, condemning, or copying culture we miss out on changing it or creating it. Be a creator, never a hater.
Accept your own story. Reject your past’s hold on your future but do yourself a favor: accept your past. Take it to the hill. Stand with it laid bare in the shadow of the cross. Believe God. Receive grace. Surrender self-hatred. Simply live as 1 to whom His grace was not in vain.

Man oh man, just gonna say there ain’t no such thing as invulnerable love. Not on this earth anyway. Not in this skin. To be open to its joys is to be open to its aches and often simultaneously. Therein’s the rub but also the beauty. Love is costly but lovelessness is bankruptcy.
