As someone works with human rights violations, I have never seen anything like the Epstein files in my 15-year career. You know what else died in that Island? The myth of humanity. If people can't unite over children being raped and abused there's no hope for humanity.
The notion that the US would bring "freedom" to Cuba is actually obscene. The US effectively controlled Cuba for half a century before the revolution, and ran it as a dictatorship characterised by gangsterism, political repression, sex tourism, racial hierarchy and mass poverty.
