I am in the same boat, the application is stuck in “application received” status since last 4 weeks. My family is alone in US. Stamping should not be taking such a long time to process.
@USAndChennai Please expedite visa processing at chennai consulate or consider sharing with consulates. Some of us are waiting from last 4 weeks for getting back our passport after visa stamping and at risk of losing our jobs. Please help.
