Scarlet's 10th birthday would of been around now. I hope wherever she is now, there are so many Salmon she doesn't know what to do with them all. I hope she can eat and eat and eat until she feels so full she could burst, and there still be more Salmon.

Sharing this again with the added note that I'm ditching this hellsite entirely. I might pop in and just lurk from time to time, and if shit gets better then maybe I might come back, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

Just heard a radio announcer say "no, this isn't a Nightmare" when introducing a segment on the US election, which tells you about everything you need to know about how the rest of the world feels about this.

Forgot to share this, but a small pod of saddle-less Fijian Orcas was seen last month! Bunch of weird lookin' guys.

EXCLUSIVE: An incredibly rare population of orcas with a unique pattern not seen anywhere else in the world has been discovered. | @mb_dahlstrom trib.al/OPkimhR

Fingers crossed I should be heading to a zoo for the first time in like,,,, a year next weekend. Not any of my usual old haunts, just a little place with some natives and domestics, but I think there's one or two new species in there for me. I know they've got Pademelons.

Hey uh. It's been a while, but I'm doing this thing again.

Today's Critically Endangered Species is the Vangunu Giant Rat (Uromys vika) Native to Vangunu of the Solomon Islands, this species is highly cryptic, only being officially discovered in 2015, with just a single specimen ever caught. Their major threat is habitat loss.

The fun moment when a country had decimated its natural landscapes so completely that the national news feels the need to warn people that there are some spiders in a forest.

Urgent warning to Britons as more than 50 different species of spider are found in a nature reserve - including one that has NEVER been seen there before trib.al/y1LutgN
