Disclaimer: Yes,there are players who refuse & are not part of this inflated-money nexus. It's true that not everyone is corrupt. But let’s be honest, most are. And that’s the problem.
Step 2: The club official(s), by now great pals with the lobby, r “convinced” about the player. They sell it internally as a “long-term investment,” push to the #Coach. The coach is convinced, but then the reality hits -- the budget is low. That’s when the real scam begins. +
Step 3: They meet the owner. He’s told: “Can we afford to lose the next #SC11 or #Gurpreet. Other clubs are going crazy for this boy.” The lobby, suited & suave talks about “modern football, market valuation, resale value.” Owner gets #FOMO. Nods. Deal unofficially green-lit.+
Step 4: The “salary” is now inflated, but has been agreed upon. The trick -- as mentioned prior -- is that a chunk of that inflated money quietly cycles back to everyone. Player smiles. Officials smile. Lobby smiles. Nobody loses, except the club. +
Step 5: The contract is penned in a hurry. "Act fast otherwise other clubs may lure him," is sold. The boy, whose value is 20 lakh gets a deal of 3cr+ or more, plus transfer money is paid. The club media is told to set the narration: “The next big thing is ours.” Fans go crazy.+
Step 6: Obviously, some souls question. The lobby instantly weaponises fan groups. If owner asks, he is told: "They r jealous as we snatched him." Fans go to war. Dissent is mocked. Any individual asking questions is strategically blacklisted, badmouthed. Silence is enforced. +
Step 7: This is where the scam becomes structural. Inflated salaries siphon scarce club money into private pockets. Thus, academies starve, scouting dries up, ecosystem is left to rot. The market rewards rent-seekers, not grit. +
Step 8: The player, overpaid without earning it, slips into comfort. Ego up, hunger gone. Mediocrity has been rewarded. Talent suffocates. Cheaper to buy fixed players than build real ones. The ecosystem revolves around corruption, not craft. +
Step 9: The most dangerous part, the player now has a #Godfather guarantee. He kows that even if he fails, they’ll still push his next extension bcoz the nexus will earn again. National team? Who cares? Even club duties r taken for granted. The scam is now a self-feeding cycle.+
Step 11: Actually this isn’t “corruption,” but a great #BusinessModel. Money > Merit. Contacts > Talent. Lobby > Logic. #India won’t reach the #WorldCCup unless we kill #SalaryFixing. The farce #SalaryCap is a joke. Expose. RT if you actually want change. +
